SOAP SYNOPSIS OF 20th April 2013
Adalat Sony TV – sat & sun 7.30 pm-8:30 PM
Adalat is serial based on court cases in which the defense
lawyer is K.D. Pathak (Ronit Roy), who like Perry Mason the fictitious
character created by Earl Stanly Gardner is very good & never loses and
gets all clients who have been framed and are innocent of the crime under which
they have arrested. KD is helped by his assistant Varun & his secretary
Mrs. Billimoria.
In this episode one dwarf name Raju is accused of murdering
one warehouse owner Mohanlal in his own warehouse. Raju had made use of lack of
his height to enter warehouses in a carton & rob them & wait with the
loot inside the carton till next day for his associates to come & get him. This
plan had work well for 4 times but in the 5 time when the warehouse owner came
back earlier than expected he caught Raju red-handed then Raju attacked him
& ran away after injuring him. But the shopkeeper next door caught him with
help of his assistant. The shopkeeper came running inside & found Mohanlal
dead. Police came & arrested Raju for the murder.
Raju’s father came to KD for help in proving his son’s
innocence. He also told KD that his son had joined a gang of thieves to earn
money as he had no other job & no one wanted to hire him because of his
lack of height. He told KD that his son could never kill anyone & had
joined the gang only to earn money. He also told KD he was suffering from
cancer & Raju wanted to earn enough money for his medical treatment because
he has a good heart & loves him a lot. KD agrees to take the case &
meets Raju in the prison who tells him that he had only injured Mohanlal not
murdered him & has no idea who has done it.
In the court prosecuting lawyer Mr. Bharadwaj was very
confident that this was an open & shut case as all the evidence was against
Raju. He called Diana who was an ex-circus employee & also Raju’s associate
in the same circus. She claimed that Raju was an expert in knife throwing in
the circus along with being a joker. Once they had a small tiff with each other
& Raju had injured her in that event so she believes that Raju can murder
anyone. Next KD called a key maker who had been told to make duplicate keys for
the lock of the warehouse by Prakash. Prakash was half-brother of Mohanlal who
wanted to sell his share of the warehouse but his brother refused & didn’t
even give him the papers & he had wanted to steal these papers but had not
murdered his brother so when he came to the warehouse after the murder he stole
those papers. Next Mahesh Gupta was called he was the shopkeeper next door
selling utensils & had caught Raju running outside. He too had a tiff with
Mohanlal who wanted to buy his shop to extend his warehouse & Mahesh had
refused to sell his shop. But he proved that he had sold his shop 3 days prior
to the incident & had already bought a new shop. Case is closed for the day
& KD again goes to Raju to find how his knife was used to kill Mohanlal &
Raju claims that he had lost one from his set of knives & told KD about his
suspicion about the knife thief.
Next day KD calls Anand who is a salesman & speaks
highly of Raju who was with him in the circus. The circus had shut down when
the owner Mr. Murgan had died in a suspicious manner but even the police could
not prove anything. There was a lot of money missing & no one knew who had
it & Mr. Murgan’s family had troubled all the circus employees for this
money but of no money was ever found. KD had send Varun to the murder site
& found that some tiles were moved from the roof & lots of ropes &
chains were hanging from the roof & also found a shoe print in the blood on
the roof.
KD claimed that Mohanlal was not the intended murder victim it
was Raju as he was blackmailing someone who wanted to remove the threat once
& for all. So KD called Diana back & asks what her specialty in the
circus was. She claimed to Trapeze artist. Then KD proved that she had the
missing circus money & was paying Raju money to keep her secret & was
tired of paying every month. He also proved that she had gone to kill Raju but
when Mohanlal came back unexpectedly she killed him & put all the blame on
Raju. She had also poisoned Mr. Murgan to steal his money.
Judge agreed that Diana was the murderer & was sentenced
to life imprisonment & Raju was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment for his
thieves & his involvement in murder of Murgan.
Case closed.
MADHUBALA – color TV – 8:30 PM
Madhu is shocked with all nonsense that RK was uttering. The
movie was just the poison he was spewing on Madhu & he claimed that Madhu
was confused about who she loved him or Sultan. He was slapped by her so he
broke her heart & the revenge was completed but she then moved on in life
without him & he found that he cannot live without her now. He told her
that when he had seen her going with Sultan alone, he wanted to do what Sultan
was doing today with one major difference, he would have killed Madhu for
loving someone other than him & then killed himself. But he remembered that
Madhu only love him & no one else & in every movie the villain was
always killed so would be Sultan. Madhu leaves him & goes back to her
house. RK claims that he had reconciled with his wife & were happy together
again in front of the media- persons. No one can find on the sets & her phone
is also on the set. Madhu meets her sister in the compound of their chawl. Trishna
tells her Dipali had come to rat on her & wants to know why was Madhu still
with RK after all his misbehavior has she forgiven him but Madhu replies that
she still cannot forgive that person who had given millions of wounds.
RK comes rushing to Padmani’s house to find Madhu but she is
not there so he takes her phone & calls up Sultan inquiring about Madhu’s
whereabouts.
